Founder’s Story
RayTails didn’t begin as an idea. It began as a journey—long before the brand had a name.
My professional path into pet care was shaped within large, structured healthcare and pet-care ecosystems where science, quality, and responsibility were non-negotiable. Working in environments driven by research, compliance, and long-term trust taught me that meaningful brands are not built on products alone, but on systems grounded in knowledge and care.In parallel, a strong foundation was being built in R&D-driven human healthcare. With over two decades of experience in developing and supplying scientifically formulated medicines, this journey established a deep respect for consistency, regulatory discipline, and evidence-based decision making. That mindset continues to guide every healthcare initiative I lead.
Over the last 16+ years, my work has spanned leadership roles across pharmaceutical distribution and veterinary healthcare. Through multiple ventures, I have helped establish transparent, quality-focused distribution networks—supplying both human and veterinary medicines to institutions, hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals. This hands-on involvement provided a practical understanding of how healthcare systems function beyond theory.
Sustained engagement within the veterinary ecosystem allowed close collaboration with veterinarians, educators, and practitioners. Listening to their everyday challenges—particularly around skin health, grooming, and preventive care—offered valuable, real-world insight that cannot be gained from research alone.
This experience evolved into the creation of Shalihotra Pet Clinic & Spa, which has been serving pet families successfully for several years. Built in collaboration with experienced veterinarians, the clinic was designed as a space where science meets compassion—addressing grooming, skin health, nutrition, and overall well-being with seriousness and care.
Over time, one insight became impossible to ignore:
pets need species-specific, science-led care—not solutions adapted from human products.
RayTails was born from that understanding.

It is a high R&D-driven brand, created through collaboration with formulation scientists, healthcare professionals, and veterinarians—working together to develop thoughtful, efficient products that respect pet biology and real-world veterinary needs.
